Who Else Wants To Know About The Daily Planner?

I have decided that one thing I am in desperate need of is a daily planner. I keep forgetting things, and when it comes to work, that is not acceptable. I have always been semi-organized, and I know how to take care of most of my records, but when it comes to remembering all of the little things I need to do, I am forgetting the small things. Sometimes the small things are the most important, like remembering to bill a client.

I think I might go out and buy a daily planner, even though I could make one on my own. The ones you find in the store are quick and easy to use. You can get one that is a book, which is probably what I will get, or you can get something that is electronic. Though I am sure the electronic ones are wonderful, I think I will opt for something that allows me to write things down. I love technology, and I think most of the new gadgets out there are wonderful, but I think there is something to be said for paper and pen.

If you want to make your own daily planner, you can do so on your computer, or you can do it by making something you can print out to write on. That choice will be up to you. You can find an example online and then tailor it to your needs. There should be many examples out there. You may even find one you want to use as it is. You can even print out many pages and put them into a note book for your daily planner. You can make it as easy or as complicated as you like. Obviously, someone with a lot of meetings and phone calls to make might have to have something a little more detailed than I need.

The hardest part of a daily planner, at least for me, is remembering to use it. I have had them in the past and I have used them for a while, only to let it go. I have to do better this time, because I know that being late is not acceptable. Perhaps I have to find some sort of daily planner that I can hang over my desk. I may get a large calendar printed on a dry erase board that will work as my daily planner. That way I can just look up and see what I need to know right there in front of me.
